Craps Basics
Online craps is considered by many to be the most exciting online
casino game that is available. Craps is loved by gambling purists
as the most honest game with the lowest house odds. Add to the
natural excitement of the dice rolling and you have what is arguably
gambling’s ultimate game.
Craps is the game in which a player, referred to as the “shooter”,
throws the dice until he loses and everyone around the table gambles
on what the results of that dice roll will be. The shooter first
rolls what is known as the “come out” roll in which
a roll of seven or eleven is an automatic winner, two, three or
twelve is an automatic loser, and four, five, six, eight, nine,
or ten are what are known as “points.” When the shooter
rolls a point, he must then keep repeating the dice rolls until
he hits it again but BEFORE he rolls a seven or eleven, which
is craps.
For example on the come out roll of the shooter rolls a five
he must roll another five to make his point and “pass.”
If he rolls a seven or eleven before rolling the five he doesn’t
“pass.” Gamblers can bet on whether he will pass or
not and you should always take the free odds that are offered
after the come out roll. You can also bet on individual dice rolls
and other propositions at the craps table.
Craps may look complicated at first but it’s actually an
easy game with great odds and unlimited excitement.
