Low Dice, High Dice Craps Bet
Have you tried out the Low Dice, High Dice bet when playing craps?
It is an exciting bet that is paid off immediately. Let’s
look at the wager and the craps odds.
The Low Dice, High Dice bet is basically a high, low bet where
you get to wager on the next roll of the dice being high or low.
The Low Dice bet pays off on numbers from 2 to 7 while the high
dice wager pays off on numbers from 7 to 12. The payout is even
money on each of these wagers except for 2 and 12 which means
the house edge is 5.56%. The payout is even money on numbers 3,
4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 while the payout for a 2 or a 12 is
5-1.
The good news with the Low Dice, High Dice bet is that it is
a one-roll wager which means it is paid immediately after the
roll. With many bets in online craps you have to wait until the
point has been established and then after it has either been made
or not made before your bet is decided but not with the Low Dice,
High Dice bet. And this bet can be made at any time, before any
roll of the dice.
The bad news about the Low Dice, High Dice bet is that the house
edge is 5.56% which means it is not a great wager in online craps
especially when the Pass Line and Don’t Pass line bet have
house edges of just over 1%.
