The Easy Way Bet in Online Craps

You may know all about the “hard way” bet in online craps but have you heard of the “easy way” bet? It is basically just the opposite of the hard way bet. Let’s take a look.

The easy way bet has you wagering on making a specific number the easy way. For example, instead of betting on the hard way 6 where you have to get a 3 and a 3 to make the number you are betting on the easy way where you want a 5-1 or 2-4 combination. This actually gives you four different ways to make your number since each dice has a 1 and a 5 and a 2 and a 4 while the hard way bet only gives you one way to hit as each die must land on 3.

While the easy way bet sounds good there is one big disadvantage to making the wager. The payout is much less than the hard way bet because there are more ways to roll the combination. The other disadvantage is that not every online casino offers this wager.

The easy way bet is actually not that much better than a hard way bet even though it is easier to hit. Neither bet gives you much value as the house edge for both wagers are high. The easy way bet will give you more wins than the hard way bet but it probably won’t add any money to your bankroll.
