The Pass Line Bet in Craps
When you are playing craps at an online casino one of your better
bets is the pass line bet. Actually the pass line bet in craps
is one of the best bets in the casino and it can be improved even
more if you take full odds behind it.
Let’s look at the pass line bet in craps and what makes
it a good investment.
Online craps is played with two identical dice with six numbers
on each die, so a pair of dice will give you 36 different combinations.
The game of craps is based on the most popular number, seven,
and how the other numbers compare to it. When someone rolls the
dice, he can roll three things - a 7 or 11, called a natural,
a “point” or craps. If the 7 or the 11 are rolled,
then the pass line bet is automatically a winner. If they roll
a craps, (2, 3, or 12) the pass line is an automatic loser. If
they roll a “point” (4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10), then for
the pass line bet to win, that number has to be rolled again before
a seven is rolled. For example, say the shooter rolls a six on
the first roll. For your pass line bet to win you need the shooter
to roll a six again before he rolls a 7. You also want to take
full odds after that point is established. That means putting
more money behind your original bet, as much as is allowed by
the online casino. If you hit that 6 before the 7 comes up you
will be paid at odds of 6-5.
The pass line bet is a great bet at online casinos. The next
time you play craps, play the pass line and take full odds behind
the wager. It is one of the best bets you can make at an online
casino.
