Craps Gambling
Craps is the most common game of chance played with dice
and is one of the most exhilarating forms of online casino
gambling. Beyond that, craps is renowned for being the game
with the fairest odds and best deals for the player. Craps
is also notorious for its reputation of having games within
the game. At first it can appear quite confusing and too
fast of a paced game but craps is actually quite simple and
a thrill to play. In craps all bets are made against the
“house,” (online casino). A special dice table is laid out
with the various different betting options. A player
signifies his bet by placing chips or cash on the
appropriate part of the layout before any dice roll.
In craps, also known as “bank craps” the player throwing
the dice, (known as the “shooter”), or anyone wanting to bet
that the shooter wins places their bet “on the line” (in the
area marked either as “pass” “come” or “win,” depending on
the layout.
The shooter wins if he throws a seven or eleven, (a
“natural”), on his first toss. The shooter automatically
loses on a toss of two, three, or twelve. If a shooter
throws a four, five, six, eight, nine, or ten that number is
his “point” and he rolls again until he either makes his
point or throws a seven and “craps out.” The shooter keeps
the dice for as long as he doesn’t “crap out.” Beyond
betting on the shooter winning or losing you can also bet on
individual dice rolls and on the number that will come up,
known as “proposition bets.” Posted: April 30, 2007 |
